Text Box: Men’s Ministry, making a difference...

Targeting widows, single moms, and those in need, the Lake City Men’s Ministry make a real difference in countless lives as they exhibit the love of Jesus by undertaking various tasks that are just not feasible for a specific individual. Minor house repair, yard work, and general clean-up are among the tasks undertaken in the past for both church members and non-church members.

“What a blessing it is to share our talents with others as we serve our Lord,” states Colin Silcox, Men’s Ministry leader, “we try to do one project per month as not to be overwhelmed.” Thank you to all who participate, and for those who don’t, well you

Two days after receiving company status from the Florida Conference, the Live Oak group entered into a purchase agreement with the Word of Life Church in Live Oak. This past week they closed on the 2,500 sq, foot church which sits on seven  plus acres a couple of miles outside the town center on highway 51.

“This is a monumental step forward in establishing a permanent Seventh-day Adventist presence in Live Oak,” stated Ryan Wiggan, lay pastor.

With plenty of room for future expansion the Live Oak Company expect to grow in this location until the Lord’s soon and imminent return.
