NFSDAE This past month has been a busy time for students at the North Florida SDA school. The Iowa Basic Skills Test was administered for a full week to determine where the students are sitting in relation to their academic skills. The next week they were able to relax a little bit with a field trip to Silver Springs where they enjoyed Florida’s nature at its best. It is so incredible to see God’s nature in the water world below us. The children are finishing up a unit study on plants, and have been very active in hands on activities. They have been planting and landscaping the outdoors and are fortunate to have Kay Yates available to help learn the fine art of nature and responsibilities of taking care of it. The next unit study will be on the Industrial Revolution and WWI. Registration packets for the next school year will be available soon. |

Jennings Lake church is growing and we are so happy to see this little country church expanding. With growth often comes the question of building projects which could include improvements, building on, or finding a new location. Currently we are in the process of renovations. Al Creamer and his son Travis have been remodeling the 2 Sabbath school rooms, bathrooms, and entry way. We are also putting carpet in the fellowship hall. This project is going to be a beautiful addition to our church. The church has grown so much that it has been considering adding on or to move location. Jennings lake is a small church with a big heart that is mission minded. The church members come together and think of ways that they can minister to the little communities in the surrounding area. |

Our Sabbath school superintendent came up with a challenge for everyone to take a jar home and start adding change to it for the whole year and the money from that will go to fund future ministry outreach. My family calls it the Jesus jar. This jar contains pennies, dimes and nickels, and will be used to fund projects that can reach our communities. Recently, one of our young people led out at prayer meeting and displayed great leadership skills. We are proud of our young people here and the ministry they are doing to help others. We also added a huge sign announcing our location and people in the community are now aware of our presence there. God continues to bless and we hope to finish up the work here so we can start spending an eternity with our Heavenly Father. |
