A total of three churches are now available for purchase in the Lake City area. We are in the process of looking at and determining the value of all three before bringing our findings before the church in business session. Keep praying that the Lord will lead us to what is best for our future development.

Text Box: Building Project Update

Our church library continues to grow. New books, DVD’s, and VHS are available for your spiritual growth. Because of high demand, we are limiting your outtake to thee pieces at a time. We ask that you return your pieces when due. Some have still not returned long overdue books and videos and will receiving an overdue notice shortly.

If you find it hard to stay awake in that afternoon meeting or lecture, try eating lunch with some friends who make you laugh. Recent studies have shown that laughing after a big meal helps stabilize soaring blood sugar levels, keeping you more alert and less likely to doze off on the job or in church.

Using only scripture, this prayer meeting series, complete with detailed handouts, will answer all known objections you might encounter and some you probably never will. Don’t miss it. Text Box: Mission Trip Volunteers Return Safely
Text Box: 	After meeting up with a group from the Stevensville church in Michigan, all twenty-one of us made our way to Ciudad Bolivar where the Stevensville church sponsors a children’s home that houses ten children. From there we traveled by bus (fueling this beast must have been painful with gas prices as they are—a whopping eleven cents a gallon in Venezuela ☺) to our Text Box: destination—El Manteco. We immediately began construction on a new church building.
	After a hard day on the construction site, the group distributed “Steps to Christ” throughout town. The people of this quaint village are hungry for the Word. Many returned to see if they could acquire an additional copy for their family and friends. 
	This mission trip consisted of obstacles to overcome, delays, frustrations, and surprises, but there were also lasting friendships made. All seven from our church had a wonderful time doing the Lord’s work. A special thanks to all who contributed to the costs of
