     Plan today to invite your friends and neighbors on Sabbath, December 3rd. Text Box: Ralph will present the 11:00 a.m. worship service and a sacred concert to close the Sabbath. See you there!
Text Box: days of total focus on God-ten days praying for the Holy Spirit to invade our lives, our church, and our church's ministry-ten days to leave all else on the back burner and focus on God's agenda with an emphasis on prayer?
     What will ten days do for us? God says that some things do not happen without fasting and prayer. (Matthew 17:21) What if we take ten days of prayer and Bible study, abstaining from the media and unwholesome food? What if we take ten days seeking the LORD, asking for the Text Box:      What could we accomplish in ten days? For four young Hebrews, it changed the course of history. Ten days changed them from abused captives to mighty conquerors. Ten days changed their health, their outlook and their reputation. They became mentally alert, passed their physicals with flying colors and became fine-tuned spiritual giants. They tried a different lifestyle for ten days and came out on top!
     What would happen if we took ten Text Box: outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT?
     Queen Esther took three days and saved her people from a holocaust. What if we took TEN? What could God do with us and for us and for our church if we took TEN DAYS?
     Think about it. Pray about it. Heaven is waiting. Ten Days in January. Jot down Jan. 2-11, 2006 on your calendar. Make the effort, make a difference. Watch God work and remember, God never disappoints.

Text Box:      Following lunch (bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy the fellowship of members from all over north Florida), Josh Edwards (pictured), a former rodeo rider who gave his life to the Lord, will provide praise and worship in the form of song.
     Other afternoon activities include the North Florida School’s Christmas program, and Ralph Henderson (featured above) will bless our hearts with a sacred concert.

     Vespers will be provided by the youth who are in attendance.

     Following supper we will have hay rides and story telling, along with popcorn, hot chocolate, apples and cider. The gym will also be open for basketball and volleyball.

     Our church will be closed for on December 10th for this special event. So, why not plan on inviting your friends and spending the entire day in praise and worship. See you there!

 

Text Box:      Sabbath, December 10th, brings a  spiritual, yet fun-filled day, at Camp Kulaqua. The Lake City Church is teaming up with other area churches to bring you this exciting day of praise and worship. 
     Sabbath School begins at 10 a.m. with adult and children’s classes. Pastors Crawford (High Springs), Wells (Macedonia-SE Conference), and White (Lake City), will present interactive preaching at the 11 a.m. worship service.

Text Box: Jacksonville Zoo

     On Sunday, December 11th, the Lake City Children’s Sabbath School Department invites all the children and youth to join us in a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo. There will be no cost to the children. Parents who are able will be responsible for their own admission ($7.50 per adult). We plan on car-pooling to save a little money. Please meet at the church at 8:30 a.m.   

     Pack your own lunch, bring a camera, and let’s have some fun.
