      The Pauley's bring Gospel Music again to the front. Their concert will feature a wonderful mix of music styles and sounds. Roy Pauley, one of gospel music's great baritones uses his great "stage presence" to ignite the audience. Amy Pauley blends her alto voice and adds her expertise as pianist. The result will be an evening of great music and great friendship. Plan on joining us for this exciting event. And, remember, invite a friend! Admission is FREE.

Christmas is Coming...

     We often place great pressure on ourselves at Christmas to provide the right gift for our family, friends, and even workmates. This year the Lake City church wants to help.  Instead of spending a small fortune on gifts that end up in a yard sale by January, why not make your gifts this season evangelistic in nature. Here’s what we have in mind.

     “The Appearing” with Shawn Boonstra from It Is Written Television will soon be available on DVD. All five dynamic presentations (as aired on the Hope channel) plus additional material—a sixth presentation by Shawn Boonstra, additional information on the appearing of Jesus, and Bible study guides—are being made available by the Lake City Church. The suggested donation is $10 per set. And, for the first fifty orders we will provide the five full color Bible lessons that go along with the presentations along with Shawn’s book, The Appearing. Wow! What a great and inexpensive Christmas  gift.

     Secondly, we are offering Doug Batchelor’s Final Events DVD. This awesome presentation on the chronology of Earth’s final events comes with an accompanying book also titled “Final Events.” The suggested donation for this gift is $5 per set.

     So, this Christmas, give a gift that will last for eternity.  Use these gifts to start Bible studies with your family and friends.

Our Lake City Church family sponsor four orphaned children in various parts of the world ranging in age from six to thirteen.  I am pleased to report that all four, David from the Phillipines,  Dominga, from the Domionican Republic; Yeim Sila, from Cambodia, and Silvia from Guatemala, are doing well. Our support helps them with food, clothing, and school.  Funding is provided by our weekly Lamb’s offering.
